NHCPS and the Disque Foundation have teamed up to expand the reach of life saving skills training. The mission of the Disque Foundation is to advance and provide health care education to undeserved areas, both domestic and abroad. NHCPS has pledged to donate all proceeds gained through the certification and recertification programs towards furthering the efforts of the Disque Foundation.

The Save a Life Initiative allows health care professionals to not only have their individual certification requirements met, but also to directly contribute toward providing education to those in underserved areas, thereby indirectly saving lives with this simple choice. Both NHCPS and the Disque Foundation operate through a goal of inspiring others to live inspired lives.

Savealife Certifications By NHCPSWe have already seen first hand the positive impact this education can have on areas where it is needed the most, and the lives it has saved. Many health care professionals have experienced the inspiration that results from saving a life. In completing a certification or recertification course through NHCPS, this inspiration can spread, and together we can Save a Life!

      Our certifications are accepted internationally, depending on your organization’s individual requirements. However, 98% of health care organizations accept our certification, including major organizations and hospitals. To reduce confusion, please verify your organization’s current policy for certification acceptance with human resources or your nurse educator.

        I was eating peanuts, I.e flew down my trachea and I began to silently cough with such force my eyes hurt. I ran outside of the Walgreens. Realizing then I coukd not get in any air. Shit, I’m choking, really choking. I locked eyes with a woman getting into her car. Being 5’5 inch I frantically motioned to her to hit me on the back. She got out and was like are you , O’h my God your choking! I was clawing at my throat. No Air. My body was trying to breathe. Nothing went inside. My entire world went slow motion. I needed air. Meckenzie, I was choking to death. The next thing I remember was being wrapped around my waist by these long and strong arms. Stand up straight, I’m going to heimlich you. One, nothing two, three on the fourth heimlich my body was lifted off the ground, suspended in the air as these fists thrusted up under my diaphragm. A nut ejected to the ground. I threw my head back and gasped a breath of pure crisp clean Air. I could breathe, the stail hot air left out, and the clean crisp Air came in. The voice was soft just breathe your ok now. Barley able to stand now these long strong arms where holding me up. I turned around and the owner of these long and strong arms was a woman in her thirties. Tall, blond beautiful. Big blue eyes. I could not objective this human who had just given me back my breath, my life. We hugged like I have known her for years. All I could say was Thank You. You saved my life. I could not breathe.
        Mackenzie please tell the world and shiw them,how quickly this can happen.,
        This is the woman that saved me.
